BIV Saarland – Counseling, Integration, Mediation for EU Migrants
BIV Saarland supports EU citizens – particularly those from Eastern Europe and Romani communities – in their integration process in Saarland. The service is aimed at people with limited German skills and complex life situations who have been living in Germany for no more than 5 years. We offer free, confidential, and individualized counseling.
Our services:
- Individual counseling on employment, education, health, and family matters
- Referral to language and integration courses
- Support in accessing vocational training, voluntary services, and alternatives in case of school dropout
- Social counseling for families with school-aged children
- Interface work with authorities and institutions
- Counseling on the right to freedom of movement
- Building and maintaining a network for EU migration
Our goals:
We support children, young people, adults, and entire families on their path to a self-determined life. A special focus is placed on integrating women into the labor market – as an opportunity for greater equality and better future prospects for the next generation. Young men also receive active support in their vocational orientation.
BIV is active in:
The Saarbrücken regional district, Saarlouis, Saarpfalz district, Merzig-Wadern, and St. Wendel.
